This year’s theme, “Hoppers,” spotlights treehoppers, planthoppers and leafhoppers. Explore more than 100 exhibits, crafts, games and activities celebrating the world of arthropods. Ask entomologists and other scientists about all things bugs. Satisfy your curiosity and appetite with buggy culinary creations at Café Insecta. Jobs span logistical tasks (setup, breakdown, meal service, t-shirt sales, etc.), educational stations, and kids’ crafts and activities. It’s loads of fun and you get a free BugFest t-shirt. Volunteers who work 2+ shifts get free lunch. Volunteers must be 13 years old to volunteer without a parent. Volunteers must be 10 years old to volunteer with a parent.
